The demonstration on the UVic quad evolved overnight to an encampment. Safety remains our highest priority. Operations are continuing on campus. Buildings will be closed daily from 5 p.m.–7 a.m. & some entrances will remain locked throughout the day. ➡️ow.ly/SW0M50Rvfyo

On May 7, members of the encampment asked for support with an aggressive individual. Campus Security and Saanich Police escorted the individual off campus. The individual is not affiliated with UVic and is restricted from re-entering the property. ow.ly/Beao50RB13T
