New RAND survey: About one in 10 school districts reported chronic absenteeism levels of 30% or more and another two in ten districts reported rates between 20 and 30% in the 2023–2024 school year. rand.org/pubs/research_…

And RAND is one of the few research orgs that continuously support PD activities for staff (beyond the first few years after grad school). I just presented work at a workshop in Chile and will do the same CESifo conference in Munich in 2 weeks!

I worked here for a semester in grad school...wonder if it is too late to list it under "professional experience" in my CV.
