What a great day we had for this year’s Vintage Tea Party! So busy with so many guests and it was great to welcome an elegant group of Victorian Strollers. And the weather was perfect too. Here’s to 2025!

“So, what’s the oldest thing you’ve got in this #museum?” Well, this is old but not oldest. Part of the vertebral column & ribs of Pachythrissops vectensis, Smith Woodward, a metre-long fish from c110 million yrs ago. John Comber found this rare specimen in Hook Quarry in 1964.
