How can schools reduce the spread of Covid-19 even in the colder months? The below 6 clips are from this morning's BBC Breakfast where I, my kids (et al) and the most excellent 17 Years A Head - NPQEL🦩📚 🌈 🏳️‍⚧️🇵🇸(she/her) show some of the things our Primary school will be doing. Part 1

Part 4 - You don't have to believe me nor Prof Cath Noakes #Ventilate 😷 💙. Here is Dr Shaun Fitzgerald, MA, PhD, CEng, FEI, FCIBSE, FREng, Royal Academy of Engineering Silver Medal in 2011. He's an expert in in the field of low energy natural ventilation. from Cambridge University - It's a small🌍.

Finally a few explainers/clarifications - I wasn't wearing a mask indoors 😷 - I had however taken a lateral flow test that morning + I'm double vaccinated. Also whilst I am a big proponent of children wearing masks in schools like they do in US I know I have lost that battle.

Also we did not discuss/do distancing w kids- A key mitigation in the fight against this virus. Again I pick my battles - There is no way I am going to be able to magic up thousands of teachers to have class sizes at 15. We need to work with what we have got hence Fresh Air #1.

Cautiously optimistic, but this seems like a big discovery. It was always the blood. It felt that way, and research is slowly but steadily confirming it. news-medical.net/news/20240829/…

Tim Cook Matt Butler Surgeons often ask anaesthetists to “give some antibiotics”, which we do as a professional courtesy. Should an anaesthetist administer an incorrect dose and the patient come to harm, I’m pretty sure no one would ask the RCoS to get involved in developing measures to stop this.
