MBRRACE-UK has published a State of the Nation report on perinatal deaths of babies born in 2022. This report covers all babies who died during pregnancy or within 28 days of being born. Here are the key findings 👇 MBRRACE UK NPEU-Oxford Oxford Population Health (OxPop)

The most common causes of stillbirth and neonatal death remain the same, with placental issues causing over a third of stillbirths but still a third with unknown cause. Congenital anomalies are the most common cause of neonatal death.
