No. Would be interested to hear someone propose a legal framework from elsewhere in the world which they think would make a significant difference. It’s always going to be about system capacity & refocus on the most severely ill.

The problem area is patients who don’t “engage”, but don’t want to be discharged. That’s a daily discussion in most teams. Clearly patients who do not want contact cannot be seen unless a legal order is in place.
