The Omer Yilmaz lab led by Shinya Imada and Saleh Khawaled, PhD demonstrates the benefits and downside of fasting. They’ve discovered that fasting helps intestinal stem cells regenerate and heal injuries - but also leads to a higher risk of cancer in mice. mit-ki.org/4dw18oJ

No place like home: the MVH Lab found cancer cells prefer the nutrient landscape of their tissue of origin after they metastasize. The results may explain why cancers tend to metastasize more frequently to certain tissues and organs. Nature Metabolism: buff.ly/3XkZnUx
