The police have attended all sites of violence tonight and all those perpetrating it will face the consequences no matter who they are. Thanks to all residents who have acted with grace and kindness and have kept people informed so actions could be taken.

Have spoken to police and pub staff at sites of violence tonight, pub has been visited by lots of lovely community sending solidarity and are locking up for the night now as usual.

My son had whooping cough as a baby, it was dreadful and meant he didn't sleep soundly for years from coughing. The jab (which didn't exist) when I was pregnant would have been heaven sent.

Extreme misogyny is a threat in itself (incels, hate crime etc) but also co-present with other forms of extremism - far right/ Islamist etc. This needs to happen as part of a wider review of counter extremism. The last government dropped the ball. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
