The 2nd day of the TReND in Africa Computational Neuroscience and Machine Learning course wrapped up with a lot of fun and laughter and with this amazing team of students winning the Brain Quiz 🧠 organised by the wonderful Gabriela Michel and Emmanuel Marquez-Legorreta. 🦓🐟🦅🐁

Excited to share a project years in the making where we tracked the formation of a hippocampal cognitive map. We observed learning led to gradual decorrelation in neural activity, resulting in orthogonalized representations akin to a state machine capturing the task structure.
