The Field House Walking Wednesday Group got up close with nature during a recent visit to Kings Mill Reservoir in Sutton in Ashfield. As well as viewing the Carnfield Bee Hives they were pleased to meet a large flock of geese.

The hugely popular ‘fakeaway’ sessions at The Limes, which focus on healthy eating choices and helping to tackle obesity, continue to be very popular.

Our first ever football tournament – hosted by Victoria Gardens - was a huge success with five services taking part and more than 100 people competing or spectating on the day.

The people supported at Field House made the very best of the lovely summer weather with a visit to a local farm which also happens to specialise in ice cream! So as well as a chance to get up close with the farm’s animals.

Holkham and Martham House recently held a hugely successful ‘Party in the Car Park’ event. With fantastic food including Greek and German cuisine to enjoy, there was also a live band providing entertainment and an ice-cream truck to keep everyone cool!

The people supported at Gresham House have recently been having fun with their “Can we dig it” project and enjoying the ‘fruits’ of their hard work!

The team at Hope House were recently delighted to receive this much appreciated feedback from the social worker of a person previously supported at the service.

The input and hard work of all members of the team at St Mary’s Hospital is greatly valued. And so, when Therapy Dog Bea, who works at the service, recently celebrated her fourth birthday, the team made sure that it was marked in appropriate style!

The team at Ballington House recently decided to embrace the summer season with a Mocktails and Dreams themed day including grass skirts and wild shirts! With the sun shining there was plenty of fun for the people supported at the service and colleagues.

A fantastic Working Together event at Middlewood Clinic was a great opportunity to reflect on how to work together with the people we support and their loved ones and what makes engagement meaningful.

Carrying on with our ‘summer celebration’ theme from yesterday, Elysium’s Field House recently held a Summer Fair which attracted some very popular VIP visitors. The people who are supported at Field House were joined by some alpacas for the festivities.

Following the success of the first ever Elysium inter-service football tournament, We are excited to announce the launch of the inaugural Elysium Healthcare North west Hospitals Football League. This groundbreaking league brings together six hospitals from the north west region.
