Airini Beautrais has won the 2024 Janet Frame Prize worth $10,000. Rachael King announced the award on Frame's 100th birthday at WORD Christchurch on behalf of the Janet Frame Literary Trust and in memory of her late father Michael King, who was a founding trustee of the JFLT.
