Back in June, senior Cameron McCall was hand-selected to attend to the welcome banquet for Bocuse d’or Americas; which showcases the best pastry chefs and cooks from all over the American continent.

This summer, junior Josiah Bunch participated in the Magnificent Male Weekend at Xavier University of Louisiana. This event was designed to empower and inspire Black male students, providing a platform for growth and connection within our community.

This summer, senior Mekhi Emilien Completed the LSUHSC New Orleans Pathways to Nursing program. LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing offers a Summer High School Institute as part of its Pathways to Nursing program.

Sophomore, Alan-Michael Justice proudly served as a student member of Heroes of New Orleans, an organization dedicated to empowering youth and families at risk of poverty; through holistic support, wrap-around services, self-development, and mentorship.

Junior Terrance Taplin, Jr. completed the Intensive Law & Trial program in collaboration with Envision and Stanford Law School. During this experience, he prepared for a court case in a simulated trial endorsed by the American Mock Trial Association. Congratulations, Terrance!
