These are some of the dedicated family docs & others responsible for educating the family physicians of the future. At a faculty development event in Prince Edward County. They are unsung heroes, doing a difficult day job, then taking on learners to train tomorrow’s workforce.👏

I'm also on my way to Halifax, delighted to be invited by Linda Silas Canada's Nurses to address the #premiers tomorrow morning about access to primary care. I'll challenge them to implement a plan for 100% access to team-based care - a health home in every neighbourhood. 😀Let's do it!

Dr. Funnell's project aims to address the ongoing lack of control over access to traditional and culturally safe foods in long-term care homes for #IndigenousPeoples. Congratulations Sarah Funnell (she/her)! CSPC

Everyone in Canada deserves to have access to a team that includes their family physician. Best to have us all .. YOUR FP, NP, FP nurse, Pharmacist etc.. ALL on your team… but not fragmented care with multiple unconnected providers. The College of Family Physicians of Canada OCFP SGFP
