A beautiful sight to see at the DNC: the Vice President Kamala Harris's aunt wearing a sari hugging her on the stage. My mom showed up to my NHS induction in a sari & I was so embarrassed. I was mad. Now I wear saris with pride and images of her aunt in the sari is good for my soul.
