A privilege to be in conversation with the Executive Director of The Global Fund, Peter Sands about the amazing KP Programme that CeSHHAR implements with Global Fund support.

The Global Fund's support has enabled scale up of our KP-led programme achieving national coverage with a comprehensive package of HIV prevention and care services within the community to KPs and their partners at 140 implementation sites in all 10 provinces across 40 sites.

NAC Zimbabwe Ministry of HealthZW UNDP Zimbabwe The Global Fund Peter Sands The Global Fund supports 350 micro planners who are responsible for enhanced peer outreach within the KP programme. Micro planners provide risk-differentiated support, tailored provision of condoms, and support linkage to and adherence to PrEP and ART.

NAC Zimbabwe Ministry of HealthZW UNDP Zimbabwe The Global Fund Peter Sands CeSHHAR outreach worker, Tanya Gwanzura, took Peter Sands through CeSHHAR's highway mobile and outreach services. We reach 118 mobile outreach facilities in 10 provinces, in addition to community based outreach. More than 38 000 key populations were served in 2022.

On Monday 22 April CeSHHAR began offering long-acting injectable Cabotegravir (CAB-LA) with support from PEPFAR and USAID Zimbabwe. 39 women accessed this new HIV prevention option from the CeSHHAR Mbare Hostels and Gweru Clinics this week.

CeSHHAR is pleased to share results of a study recently undertaken in collaboration with government representatives, community members, implementers and funding partners to update the PSE for female sex workers (FSW) in Zimbabwe.

We estimated 70,423, 1.58% of women in Zimbabwe aged 15-49 years are FSW, (plausibility bounds 59,271–79,518; 1.33%–1.79%). Read more in the attached Fact Sheet.

On May 30th CeSHHAR was honoured to host a delegation from the Ministry of Health in Mozambique and WHO Mozambique who were on a Country to Country Exchange Visit facilitated by Ministry of HealthZW. The visitors toured the Mbare Hostels Clinic and observed community outreach within Mbare.

A recent visit to the Mbare Hostels Clinic by a delegation from the MoH in Mozambique  was a great opportunity for knowledge exchange and best practice sharing, particularly regarding our microplanning and peer-leadership of service delivery model. #LetCommunitiesLead
