Criticizing these thinkers is fine, but this attempt to cancel Patrick Deneen & bully Bishop Robert Barron via guilt-by-association is intellectually frivolous & disgraceful. One could just as well smear anyone who finds something of value in Chesterton, Eliot, Wagner, Heidegger, et al.

I happen to be staying one town away from one of the ancestral homes of the Stauffenberg family, and where he rehabilitated after his severe injuries sustained in 1943. Well worth a visit as well if you happen to be passing through the small town of Lautlingen in the Schwäbische
