New study in PAIN Journal together with Ketan Jaltare, Laetitia Vanderijst, and Diana Torta showing that #social #support in the form of #handholding can reduce development of secondary #hyperalgesia. Nice collaboration :)
Our paper is out in Gastroenterology! We found that psych factors, not reflux parameters, were most important contributors to symptom severity in refractory reflux patients. Results were consistent across reflux phenotypes. #gastropsych Link w/free access: authors.elsevier.com/a/1hcRD3mEmfbKe
