Please join us in welcoming Claudio Gomez Ascencio to the Department of Surgery as a part of the Underrepresented in Medicine Visiting Student Scholarship Program! Gomez Ascencio is a medical student at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is rotating with Wisconsin Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery through the end of August.

In July and August, our residents learned about team building during our Residents as Teachers curriculum sessions. Through different activities, they worked with each other on their communication and problem solving skills.
