It’s back-to-school season for many, but early childhood education is a year-round commitment. That’s why MassLWD Secretary Jones and MassEducation Secretary Tutwiler are stepping into the role to experience firsthand what it takes to be an Early Childhood Educator.

Federal grants helped keep the child care sector afloat during COVID, but parents and providers were struggling long before the pandemic began. Massachusetts is the only state to fully sustain those grants with state funds — supporting over 250K children and adding 10K more

MA is leading the nation in early education. The Healey-Driscoll Admin is continuing the pandemic era child care grants at the same level as the federal government to stabilize, heal + transform the early education and care system - supporting over 250K children + their families.
