For ti år siden gikk det et sus gjennom forsknings-Norge da May-Britt Moser og Edvard Ingjald Moser fikk nobelprisen. Vi feirer med jubileumsutgave av Gemini. Les historien her: gemini.no/gemini-jubileu…
I recently had the pleasure to host Seán Froudist-Walsh at Kavli Neuroscience and we talked about SST neurons and their local axon. Here is a nice example from my time in rudylab
In preparation for The Kavli Prize week, we had a special journal club in the lab to cover and discuss some recent works of Nancy Kanwisher @[email protected], Doris Tsao and Winrich Freiwald. Can't wait for a stimulating discussion! The Kavli Foundation Kavli Neuroscience

It was a pleasure to host Adrienne Fairhall for the Kavli Neuroscience seminar series. Great lecture on internal models, geometry of representations and new ways to look at dynamics in LFPs. Great commitment towards the next generation of scientists and women in STEM!
What a wonderful and inspiring visit to Kavli Neuroscience NTNU . Amazing neuroscience happening across scales. Thanks for the invitation Maximiliano José Nigro !
Thank you Konstantinos Ampatzis for visiting us at Kavli Neuroscience and inspiring us with out-of-the box findings on the role of gap junctions and calcium buffering in neuro-protection after spinal cord injury. Now it is time to enjoy a moment of sunshine on our porch with a well deserved glass.
It was fantastic to have Alireza Salami and Thanh Doan for this symposium to discuss aging from different perspectives: socio-emotional, cognitive, and clinical. Thanks for the invitation Alexander Olsen to share the work of my lab Kavli Neuroscience and my colleagues Umeå University, NTNU
If you come and give an excellent talk at Kavli Neuroscience, as Konstantinos Ampatzis did, you will be rewarded handsomely ;)
Just in from the Vice President at The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, Kjetil Tasken Photos of the Kavli Prize Laureate Doris Y. Tsao taken at Rikshospitalet today! #KavliPrize2024 #KavliPrize We all enjoyed the Kavli Prize Lecture UC Berkeley The Kavli Prize Kavli Neuroscience 🙏
🙏 Grateful to present clinical perspectives on brain systems & age-related diseases at 15. Nordic Meeting in Neuropsychology. Thanks to Maryam Ziaei (Kavli Neuroscience) for the invite! 🤝 Let's strengthen clinician-neuroscientist collaboration for our #patients. (📷nor.nevropsy.forening)
We greatly look forward to welcoming the The Kavli Prize Laureates in neuroscience and nanoscience to Trondheim tonight
I gave a lecture to students on microcircuit motifs and the properties they endow neural systems with. The same day I received this book! However I decided to end the lecture with Llinas law because cell types and their properties matter, at least to me. NTNU medisin og helse Kavli Neuroscience
Our project on the role of the choroid plexus and cerebrospinal fluid in brain function just got funded by Norges forskningsråd 🤩 I am grateful to my lab, colleagues, collaborators and our community for their support through the years. Stay tune for exciting science! NTNU Klinisk og Molekylær Medisin NTNU
Thrilled and grateful to have been awarded an Early Career Scientist grant from the Research Council of Norway Norges forskningsråd 🥳🎉 Thanks to my host institution, the Kavli Neuroscience, my mentors and colleagues for their encouragement and support 🥹🙏 Stay tuned for recruitments 🤩
🧠 Thank you European Academy of Neurology and Youssuf Saleh for the opportunity to discuss Brain Circuits: Principles & Translational Applications on #eanCast!🎙️Understanding brain circuits can help revolutionize treatments for brain and mental diseases. Tune in to learn more! 🔗(1/9)
