Listening to Dr. Mbaine, one nottable thing you will quickly observe will be his witty wordsmith that has been a guiding light for generations of students, mentoring them with humor, humility, and a healthy dose of sarcasm. Am proud to say he has mentored me! #MakAMC2024

For nearly three decades, Dr. Mbaine has unreservedly dedicated his career life Makerere University dissecting the intricacies of media, leaving a trail of laughter, insight, and thoroughly. You can't talk media policy & regulation in Uganda without his name somewhere. #MakAMC2024

Dr. Mbaine's work has become bibles in the field, especially media policy and regulation. For me, it's his humor, clever wordplay, and ability to find the absurd in the mundane that have made him a beloved fixture in the academic firmament. ##MakAMC2024

In one of the semesters, I got the honor to be lectured by Dr. Adolf Mbaine in media law. As he retires from the department of journalism and communications, I commend his work and contribution to the media landscape. What a journey of 28 years!
