I can confirm that there was some pretty shocking brushing aside of concerns during a meeting with NHSE this week, and a total lack of engagement / no response to others, including very personal experiences of my own that I shared. I was stunned by the lack of compassion.

Last week I received another email from a family - a 34 year old with anorexia who has been moved on to palliative care.. but yet when I raised this with NHS England they said it wasn't a thing...

Absolutely NOT a decision which can be rushed. We need proper safeguarding in place for vulnerable people.

And post grad if your Trust lacks Eating disorder placements it’s none existent. CASC stations or certainly mocks outdated

Acknowledgement of failures, meeting after meeting to discuss issues, money wasted, yet absolutely ZERO accountability and ZERO alternatives to treatment.

Absolutely disgraceful treatment of someone with an eating disorder, and this is not the first death to take place at this hospital - we need to push for accountability and change!

Beth was 21, no discharge in 3 year, lost her life whilst inpatient as her risk was not managed. This was in January 2024. The PSII report is still not complete! How many more deaths have happened whilst waiting. This is part of the problem and bigger picture 🤷‍♀️😢 Tees, Esk & Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust
