It should be virtually impossible for drivers to go fast enough on Spruce to do this. Mayor Cherelle L. Parker, despite saying that she wants a Safer Philadelphia, has shown little to no interest in fixing this problem. In fact, her most recent budget cut funding for Vision Zero.
After a week of deaths and injuries Mayor Cherelle L. Parker's office has received "several" calls so the office stopped counting Philadelphians calling in to ask for safer streets. Philly deserves so much better.
