Despite advances in managing long QT syndrome type 2 (LQT2), beta-blockers aren’t fully protective for some. Our study shows mexiletine, a sodium channel blocker, shortens cardiac repolarization in patient-specific LQT2 hiPSC-CMs, transgenic LQT2 rabbits and LQT2 patients.
