10 yrs ago today, I was at sea in NE Pacific w/ Schmidt Ocean when we experienced a storm like this- I’ll never forget watching the barometer drop, the wind ramp up, spike to 100 knots, & the next 3 days of 15 m waves & sustained 60 kts… I don’t go to sea in September anymore.
