The Green Party is the Green Party. We are not the SDLGP. As leader I will work with any political party that is prepared to facilitate real environmental action.

On the Shannon in Limerick City as the Mayor of Limerick throws a dart into the Shannon to assert his authority over the river estuary. I will be working with the Mayor over the next five years to improve the biodiversity of the river.

Pippa provides the best opportunity at this juncture to challenge the jaded narrative about who the Green Party Ireland are. Such a switch up affords the party with their best chance to cast a wide net that is held together by Green knots .

A really good news story this morning. This is the lowest Ireland's CO2 emissions have been in 30 years despite a significantly bigger economy and larger population. We still have a long way to go and we need to see this level of decrease year on year. rte.ie/news/environme…
