The crowdfunded solar panels are delivered to Nobelparken yesterday and lifted to the rooftop. In the next two weeks, they will be mounted and connected. AURORA Project (H2020)

Solar panels are mounted on one of the rooftops in Nobelparken last week. They are crowdfunded by students and staff at Aarhus Universitet as an outcome of an EU project AURORA Project (H2020) to demonstrate a successful energy community engaging citizens and the university.

Today is the EU Day for the Victims of the Global Climate Crisis. A day to honour those lost to and affected by #climate change. We must act now to minimise the impact of global warming and build resilience to protect what is most precious to us – our lives and our health.

Last week, the AURORA #solarpowerplant was installed on the roof D of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of #Ljubljana. Now it is just waiting to be connected to the #grid. Roofs A, B and C will follow shortly. #RenewableEnergy #solarenergy
